the walking dead game review

I have been spending the last couple of days working my way through the first 2 episodes of the walking dead video game by TellTale games.

I have to be honest, I really think that it’s pretty great, especially since it seems to follow the story and style of the comic book rather than the tv-show.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the tv-show, but they have deviated quite a bit from the comic-book. This means that some of us die hard fans have been left a little bit frustrated at some of the choices made by the producers o the show… Lory.

Anyway, with the game you are the one left to make the frustrating choices. The best part of the game is also the most frustrating: all of the choices.

Throughout the game you are called upon to make a series of difficult choices, which then affect the outcome of the game. Now, whenever I play a game, I try and figure out the mechanics. which choices are important opposed to the less important ones, and with this one a passing decision seems to really make allot of impact. In that way this game is much like heavy rain.

I would highly recommend these games, especially since they are really cheap.
