In projects like this there will be days that come as an unexpected delight and today was one such day. Yesterday during vastly unproductive Sunday I was invited to two separate events. First I was invited to attend a focus group for a project that a friend was holding and just after that my father invited me to a seminar on serous and rehabilitory games.

The first of the two, which took place this morning was more of an informal conversation on the topic with scholar Skip Rizzo ([link]) who opened my world up to gaming as a tool to work with soldiers who supper from post traumatic stress disorder. I was particularly entranced with a initaitive called STRIVE (STress Release In Virtual Environments). This is a initiative that help solders get ready to handle the stress of a deployment, by letting them face some of the stressful situations through a narrative. In a way, that is what I am doing, just with Teenagers and grief.

The next activity of the day was the focus group, which was another unexpected delight. I was asked to brainstorm on the public appearance of the company ICHI. Though it had little to nothing to do with my report it was kind of nice to get my head out of the umber for a little while and speak of something that was a tad more down to earth

A day like this deserves a slightly lighter post and that is why I tried my hand at a Lichtenstein/Warhol type style. Let me know how it went
